Crab Orchard

crab orchardThe Crab Orchard is a National Wildlife Refuge that is filled with fish, especially bluegill, which is becoming more populated than previous years. It was dammed in the 1930s to help with flood control and to create a recreational area. In 1947, it became the National Wildlife Refuge that it is today. You can visit it anytime that you like, but you do need to check to see what type of fish you are allowed to catch, their required length, and more.
